The Random Musings of an Attention-Seeking Author: 14 July 2012

So I’m sitting all by my lonesome at work, while everyone else has gone home.

I’m lazily twirling around in a chair, spouting nonsensical sound effects and exclamations as I dream of adventurous times…..and cake. I’m counting down the mere hours / minutes / seconds till my release and cannot wait until I can race out that door and into the loving arms of my iMac, wishing, wondering, longing for a moment of clarity to enter my head and grant me an epiphany. The best I came up with is, “Walnuts are not the male reproductive organs of walls.”

The Random Musings of an Attention-Seeking Author – 05/03/2010

  1. Lecture @ uni today. Ended early, which was good…but it was raining when we came out. Ugh.
  2. I’m looking for a book called “The Law of Torts” by Balkin and Davis (4th Edition). Does anyone have it and can give / sell to me? I will love you forever.
  3. The weather has been rather odd lately, and it seems to have a vendetta against me. Boiling hot sun, and then rain, does not help when you are wearing jeans.
  4. Homework….nah, I’ll do it later….
  5. Remember that the “World’s Worst” contest is now on! Check it out here.

That’s it from me. Take it away, boys!

Hmm hmm hmm….another slow day….

  1. Posted the next part of “Double Cross – An Avatar Fan Fiction” up here on the blog…if you want to see it, click the link: Double Cross – An Avatar: The Last Airbender Fan Fiction (Prologue: Part 2)
  2. More “Whose Line is it Anyway?”. Seriously, they need to get it back on the air. And soon.
  3. Watched an old episode of “HOUSE M.D.”. Seriously, my brother has been telling me that Phil Brown (manager of soccer club Hull City) looks like Hugh Laurie (actor in HOUSE). I’ve got two snapshots right here:

Here’s one of Phil Brown:

And here’s one of Hugh Laurie:

Same? Different? It’s your call. Over to you guys now!

The Random Musings of an Attention-Seeking Author – 22/02/2010

Just some random observations and events throughout my day….

  1. “Whose Line is it Anyway?” still remains one of the greatest comedy improv shows ever created. Get it back on the air!!
  2. The preparation to make fried rice for lunch is extremely annoying. Especially the dicing of vegetables and meat – very tough!
  3. My brother: “You cut the meat very slow!” Me: “I’m always slow!…….Wait, let me rephrase that…”
  4. Street Court is a great legal show, where people’s small claims cases are actually decided on location, and not in a court room. It’s hosted by the always interesting “Judge Mazz”….who’s not actually a judge, but an attorney. Odd, huh?
  5. I did 6 chin-ups today….and I feel exhilarated and exhausted simultaneously now.
  6. Doodle Jump (for iPhone) is an extremely addictive game. Trust me.

More random musings later. Remember to subscribe to this blog, or leave a comment!
